Board Committees
In carrying out the responsibilities of the Baptist Foundation Board Article V of the Bylaws states, "The Board of Directors may designate and appoint one or more committees or boards to advise the Board of Directors in its management of the Corporation."
Therefore, the Board of Directors has appointed the following committees:
Resource and Development Committee
The President, Vice President and Secretary of the Board of Directors will be elected at the first regular meeting of the Board following the Annual Meeting of the Colorado Baptist General Convention.
The Investment Committee, Church Loan Committee, and the Resource Development Committee will be appointed by the Board of Directors during the first regular meeting following the Annual Meeting of the Colorado Baptist General Convention. Chairpersons also will be named for each of these committees during the meeting of the Board of Directors.
Membership of the Administrative Committee is composed of the President, the Vice President, the Chairpersons of all standing committees of the Board of Directors and the Executive Director of the Baptist Foundation. The President of the Board of Directors will be the Chairperson of the Administrative Committee.
Investment
Committee
This committee will give direction and advice to the Board of
Directors on
investments of funds held by the Baptist Foundation. It shall be
the duty
of this committee to review all investments of the Baptist Foundation.
Church
Loan Committee
The Church Loan Committee will review all applications to the
Baptist
Foundation for church loans. All necessary documents will be
provided by
the church making application through the Associate Executive
Director/CFO. It shall be
the duty of this committee to review all current church loans of the
Baptist
Foundation.
Resource
Development Committee
This committee will give directions to the securing of funds for the
Baptist
Foundation. They may or may not be directly involved in the
securing of
these funds. All methods of securing funds will be approved by the
full
Board of Directors.
Administrative
Committee
This committee works with the Associate Executive Director/CFO on
administrative matters
not specifically assigned to other standing committees. They will
recommend to the Board of Directors a plan of organization for the
Baptist
Foundation in keeping with the purpose of the Foundation.
The Executive Director of the Baptist Foundation will serve on all Board of Director committees.

Janie Bard -
Janie serves as Finance Administrator for Centerpoint Church in Pagosa
Springs, Colorado where she and her husband reside. She has an
undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Georgetown
University. Her professional career included HRIS development and
implementation, project management, and financial analysis. Janie
also volunteers delivering Meals on Wheels to seniors in her community
Mike Caton -
Mike has experience in banking, investment advisory and financial
consulting
services. He has served on the boards of several Christian
ministries and
has been active in fund-raising for non-profits. He and his wife
attend
First Baptist Church of Black Forest and reside in Colorado Springs.
Patricia (Pat)
Cheedle
- is a member of Bookcliff Baptist Church in Grand Junction, where she
and her
husband Rob reside. She is a Certified Mortgage Planning
Specialist, and
has over 30 years experience in mortgage, consumer banking and consumer
lending.
Currently, she works for Cherry Creek Mortgage Company.
Gary
Cunningham - Gary and his
wife
of 26 years reside in Pueblo and have 2 children. They are
attending
Fellowship of the Rockies in Pueblo. Gary is owner of New Heights
Financial Group, an investment company.

Mickey Dubs - Mickey is a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Sterling, where he and his wife Cheri reside. He is a Certified Public Accountant with a degree in Business Administration.
Mikel
Dunnagan - Mikel is Sr. VP of Colorado Mountain
Bank.
He is responsible for two Bible studies and the prison ministry as a
member of
Fellowship of the Rockies in Colorado Springs.

Bill LeBlanc - Bill works for CoBank and is a licensed attorney. He and is wife live in Highlands Ranch and are members of Arapahoe Road Baptist Church in Centennial.
Richard Long - Richard is a
retired
Captain for United Airlines. He is a member of Bookcliff Baptist
Church in
Grand Junction where he lives.
Mary Beth Mitchelmore
- Mary Beth is a member of Applewood Baptist Church and lives with her
husband
at Ken Caryl Ranch. She is a Certified Financial planner licensee,
and is
the branch manager and principal of her Linsco/Private Ledger office
where she
has been a financial planner for 20 years.
John
Waite - John is a Vice
President of
Investments with A. G. Edwards, a division of Wachovia Securities,
LLC. He is a member of Monument
Baptist Church in Grand Junction.
Paige
Walker -
Paige is the Business Manager for Fraser
Valley
Baptist Church in Fraser, where she lives with her husband and 2
children.
Bruce
Webb -
Bruce serves as Worship and Outreach Pastor of Discovery Fellowship
Church in Fort Collins where he and his wife now reside. Educated in
Business Administration, he worked in executive positions in banking and
finance for nine years, and as church administrator for four years.
Since 1982, he has served over 250 churches in capital giving and
stewardship campaigns, and has been active in church planting and
evangelism.
Conflict of Interest Policy
Any member of the Baptist Foundation of Colorado Board will declare him/herself ineligible to vote on an issue that directly affects him/herself, his/her church or any other associate entity. It is the member's responsibility to inform the board of this relationship. He/she can be a part of the discussion and answer questions but will abstain from voting on the motion.
