Scholarship Guidelines for Seminary

1.  Scholarships will be given only to student members of CBGC ("home") churches.

2.  Scholarships will be given on a pro-rata basis based on the number of actual hours for which the student is enrolled.  For example, a full-time student is one who takes 9 or more hours in a given semester; therefore, a student enrolled for 6 hours would be eligible for 67% of the approved scholarship that semester.

3.  A student will be eligible for a scholarship upon completion of 15 credit hours of seminary work.

4.  A student must have an accumulative GPA of 3.0 or above (based on a "4.0" system) unless another directive is given or stated by donors of designated scholarship funds.

5.  It is the Baptist Foundation of Colorado Board of Directors' desire to financially assist as many students as possible in obtaining their first master's level degree from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, Rocky Mountain Campus.  Therefore, it will be the Board's policy to not assist students working on a second master's level degree or towards a doctoral-level degree.
